Smarkia obtains the Innovative SME seal, awarded by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, which recognizes the work carried out by companies in the field of research, technological development and innovation (R&D&I).
What is the Innovative SME seal and what are its requirements?
The Innovative SME seal is a recognition granted by the government to small and medium-sized companies that are considered transformational and innovative.
Its requirements are: to demonstrate innovation by presenting its own operating patent, to prove innovation capacity with official certifications or to have, in the previous three years, a binding reasoned report.
This seal represents the commitment and effort made by Smarkia to invest and maintain la vanguardia in innovation through its energy management platform.
Currently, the investment made by Smarkia in R&D&I has 5 open research lines based on Artificial Intelligence through Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques:
- Reconstruction of complete consumption curves when detailed information is lacking.
- Disaggregation of energy consumption from total consumption, in order to replace physical meters of sub-consumption, which generates large savings in metering infrastructure.
- Detection of consumption anomalies to identify inefficiencies or perform predictive maintenance.
- Gamification based on consumption comparison between customers in the same sector, to encourage continuous improvement.
- Automatic energy efficiency recommendations based on consumption profiles.
