Reindustrialization is no longer a distant or theoretical concept: it is happening. And it is happening at a key moment, marked by the energy transition and by ambitious objectives such as the one set out in the National Integrated Energy and Climate Plan (PNIEC): 43% savings in primary energy consumption by 2030.
To achieve this, you need technology, yes, but you also need will. A lot of will. Because as Einstein said, more powerful than any source of energy is that determination to move forward, to reinvent oneself.
And this is where Artificial Intelligence comes into play. Because if we are talking about tools that can (really) accelerate this transformation, AI is one of the big players.
AI for efficiency (and industry)
The new Industry Law already shows the way: companies with high energy consumption will have to have strategic plans for decarbonization and energy efficiency. What do they need to comply with these plans? Vision, strategy... and solutions that enable them to act now.
At Smarkia we see it clearly: AI applied to energy management is not science fiction, it is the present. Our platform allows companies to control, monitor and optimize their consumption in real time, which translates into smarter decisions, economic savings and a much lower environmental impact.
From data to savings (also in the form of CAEs)
Knowing your energy consumption in detail not only helps you to be more efficient, it also opens the door to direct benefits. It also opens the door to direct benefits. An example? Energy Saving Certificates (CAEs).
Thanks to digitalization and intelligent data analysis, every efficiency action can become measurable savings... and monetizable. At Smarkia we help you identify those opportunities and transform the effort to save energy into an economic return for your company.
What the industry says: much interest, but little deployment
Together with GfK , we recently launched the EnergIAbySmarkia study, and the data speaks for itself:
- 77% of industrial companies are interested in AI solutions to optimize their energy consumption.
- But only 27% have already incorporated them.
Conclusion? There is interest, there is need... but there is still a long way to go.
The time is now
Artificial Intelligence can be that "clean engine" that drives a more efficient and sustainable reindustrialization. But for that to happen, we must leave doubts behind, understand its potential and take action.
At Smarkia we have been working for years with AI to put it at the service of companies. Because we believe that technology alone does not work magic. It takes will. And we have plenty of it.
