León, October 11, 2024 - Smarkia, a company specialized in energy management and optimization solutions based on Artificial Intelligence (AI), has been recognized for its energy efficiency services in the report 'Smart Innovators: Industrial Energy Management Software', prepared by the consulting firm Verdantix. This report, which analyzes solutions for energy acquisition and optimization of energy consumption, has positioned the Leon-based company as a global benchmark in energy efficiency.

The Verdantix report shows that the relevance of energy management softwareEMS) for the industrial sector has grown over the past five years, driven by the industry's need to achieve net zero emissions targets and by emerging regulations, such as the Inflation Reduction Act in the U.S. and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive in Europe, among others.
